Magic Pen

Recorder is this magic pen that converts your written notes into electronic files and then transfers it to your phone and computer via Blue tooth. I think it’s a great idea and can actually encourage us writers to take to the book and pen more often. I bet authors and illustrators will love it too! My only wish – it auto spell checks the files.

    The Timex Thumbnail Watch

The TX54 is a concept design which featured in the global design competition organized by Timex in collaboration with Core77. The design competition was held to commemorate 150 years of watch crafting and time keeping. The device is transparent and needs to be kept at the thumbnail or stays clear till the time it is activated. To activate or check time, one can just glance at the time when needed. It is small, chic and minimalist. Of course one can simply glance at their cell phone than going for another gadget but with its looks and various modes it a nice way to keep time.

The Ring Alarm Clock

It's hard not to like anything that can help couples to rise at different times of the morning without one having to endure the cacophony of the other's alarm. Designer Meng Fandi has attempted to tackle that prickly domestic issue with his conceptual Ring Alarm, which combines two vibrating rings and a computerized charging base to provide a personalized, and noiseless, alarm system.

The Ring Alarm's charging base is used to program each ring to vibrate at a certain time, and the rings, which fit around the tip of the finger, are designed with partially elastic bands to fit just about any sized finger. Meng Fandi has targeted his design at couples and the deaf, which, as anyone who's been married can attest, are often one in the same.
